Ernesto se fortalece en huracán y deja sin energía a la mitad de Puerto Rico
La tormenta tropical Ernesto se ha 🍊 fortalecido en un huracán mientras descargaba lluvias torrenciales en Puerto Rico, dejando sin electricidad a casi la mitad de todos 🍊 los clientes en el territorio estadounidense.
El huracán Ernesto se encontraba a unos 280 km al noroeste de San Juan, Puerto 🍊 Rico y se movía sobre aguas abiertas hacia Bermuda. Tenía vientos sostenidos máximos de 120 km/h y se desplazaba a 🍊 26 km/h.
"La predicción oficial aún refleja la posibilidad de que Ernesto se convierta en un huracán mayor en aproximadamente 48 🍊 horas", dijo el Centro Nacional de Huracanes a primera hora de la mañana del miércoles.
Un aviso de tormenta tropical estaba 🍊 vigente para Puerto Rico y sus islas periféricas de Vieques y Culebra y para las Islas Vírgenes de EE. UU. 🍊 y Gran Bretaña.
