Former Real Madrid star Kaka has revealed that leaving the club was the best memory of
his spell in the 📈 Spanish capital.
The Brazilian superstar made a £60.3million move from
AC Milan to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2009 arriving in the 📈 same window as Cristiano
Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini was handed an

Kaka made an 📈 encouraging start
to life in Madrid after six successful years in Milan but the Brazilian's form began to

"It may sound strange, but I prefer the day that
it was confirmed that I was leaving," Kaka told Marca.
"I 📈 spoke with Florentino, and he
told me that they saw me as a great professional who had done everything possible 📈 to
achieve great results in Madrid. But the injuries and the few minutes that the coach
gave me did not 📈 allow it.
"That was a great satisfaction because I felt that the doors
of the club were open. That is why 📈 you will never hear me speak ill of Madrid or José
Mourinho. In fact, when I met Florentino in the 📈 Champions League final in Paris this
year, we embraced."
Kaka exited the Santiago Bernabeu in 2013 after making 120
appearances while 📈 chipping in with 29 goals and 39 assists.
He went on to rejoin AC
Milan for a year before calling time 📈 on his career after a three-year spell in MLS with
Orlando City.
